Quilling (also known as paper filigree) is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. Quilling dates back to the Renaissance and had a large resurgence in popularity in the 18th century.

Each item is meticulously made from high-quality quilling paper. Then a clear matte finish is applied to stiffen the item and prevent it from bending while being handled. I have several pairs of paper jewelry that I've worn for over 10 years. They are more fragile than metal jewelry, but with care the item can be just as durable. Of course, we strongly recommend taking the earrings off before showering.
